TTO & TTR ribbons
Ribbon choice is a trade-off between cost and durability, and almost everybody starts one grade too cheap. Wax marks paper beautifully and scuffs off a crate. Resin survives a wash-down and costs more per metre. Wax-resin sits between the two and covers most of what a packing hall actually needs.
We supply near-edge ribbons for thermal transfer overprinters running on flow-wrappers and VFFS baggers, and flat-head ribbons for desktop and industrial label printers.
Width and length must match the machine — a ribbon that is too wide will not load, and one that is too narrow wears a track into the printhead. Send us the printer model and the core size and we will quote the exact roll.

The workhorse. Films, laminates and semi-gloss labels. Good scuff resistance.

Chemical, heat and abrasion resistant. Synthetic labels, wash-down areas, drums.

- Match the ribbon to the label, not just to the printer. A resin ribbon on the wrong facestock flakes straight off.
- Ask for a sample roll before committing to a size. A twenty-minute trial on your own line settles the grade argument for good.
