CIJ inks

A continuous inkjet printer is only as reliable as the fluid inside it. The wrong viscosity band and the printer chases its own viscometer all shift; the wrong solvent and the printhead gums up between runs. Every ink we ship is matched to a specific printer family and a specific substrate, not sold as a generic bottle.

Each batch leaves with a certificate of analysis — viscosity, conductivity, dry time and colour against the reference. If a batch ever prints differently from the one before it, that certificate is where we start looking.

The range

• General purpose black

  MEK-based, fast drying. The default for cartons, films and PET.

• Pigmented white

  For dark substrates — black cable, brown board, dark glass. Needs a stirrer-equipped core.

• Food-grade low migration

  For printing on primary food packaging. Ships with a food-contact declaration.

• High adhesion / glass

  Bonds to glass, coated metal and hard plastics that reject general-purpose ink.

• Retort resistant

  Holds the code through autoclave and hot-fill cycles.

• Low odour ethanol

  For pharma clean rooms and anywhere MEK odour is not acceptable.

• UV readable / invisible

  Reads under UV only. Used for track-and-trace and anti-counterfeit marks.

• Egg and produce grade

  Edible-approved formulations for shell eggs and fresh produce.

• Cable and wire

  Fast-fixing, abrasion resistant, survives extrusion line handling.

• Colour set — Y / R / B / G

  Yellow, red, blue and green for colour-coded batch and shift marking.
